Due to an overwhelming amount of email and phone calls from people with existing bridge saws, mills and routers, we have agreed to sell our CAD/CAM software as a separate product.
|
| |
This software allows the user to control his or her bridge saw, profiler, grinder, engraver, mill or router in three different ways:
The Good Way
Using the arrow keys on your keyboard, left and right arrow keys represent the x and y axis, the up and down arrow keys represent the z axis. By simply pressing one of these keys, you move the head of the machine wherever you like and control it from there.
The Better Way
Type your coordinates into the appropriate spot on the screen. The software moves the machine to the selected start coordinates, then moves it along a path to your end coordinates. You may also input your speed, depth for your tool and how you wish to arrive at the end point.
The Best Way
Draw the shape you wish to cut. G-Code or Machine Language is automatically written which is transferred to your machine. In this way, you can also specify your cutting depth. The added advantage here is that you can input the size (diameter) of the tool you wish you use and the program automatically takes into account how the cutting path needs to be offset so that the tool is cutting either on the inside, outside or center of the cut line to ensure you get exactly the cut you need.

The beauty of this program is that you get extreme accuracy in the easiest possible way. Errors are reduced to practically nothing, which saves you time and money. You can even write your name with it!

CNC scares some people. They have heard that it is difficult to learn and that it's easy to make mistakes. In the past, and with some software that may have been true.

We recently went to the "Coverings" show in Orlando and were watching a man demonstrate the software that came with a machine retailing for over $100,000.00. He had two other people trying to help him to explain and they were not being successful. Our software is so easy to learn, we have taught many people who don't even speak English to use it in a matter of less than an hour.
At a recent installation, we noticed 2 eight-year-old boys casually looking over as the software was explained to their father. When everyone was gone, they went over and immediately started creating shapes and moving the tool head in exactly the right way.

For repeated designs, this software is essential. One of our customers received an order for several hundred vanity tops - all the same. He had an employee who knew nothing more than how to load and unload the granite making vanity tops in 6 minutes and 5 seconds each!
